I wouldn't mind seeing a version of these with the 40 mm's replaced with 3"guns, and 5"/54 doubles.

HELL YEAH! Sorry about yelling, but I agree that a Colosseum version of Big E would be epic!

Well, given the speed at which I work, don't get your hopes up for anything anytime soon. ;)

Don't worry...the more time you take, the better this promises to be. I have a feeling only Colo could do this legendary vessel Shipbucket justice.

I understand that you've got a full plate, Colo. I'm simply overjoyed that you're even thinking about doing that most decorated of USN carriers...

There's a lesson for sure. Do it slow and do it right. No one ever said Shipbucket was a production line. One good drawing is worth a hundred bad ones. ;)

Further revisions after a PM from Colombamike, his images below (sent to me via PM), with my comments in green/black. I wanted to post this here so everyone could see it in case there were any other suggestions. Revised drawings to come shortly.

I really can't tell the corrections from the previous version posted a day or so ago... the drawings are still excellent in my opinion.
