Recently I learned about the Ulstein X-Bow ships and I liked them right away because of their unusual look and modern technology. So, inspired by Lazer_one's UT722 hull type series I decided to draw all of them. Here's my first take on it - Bourbon Orca:

These ships are so weired , little ugly but mostly weird but some how i do like them. Great draw! i even saw a naval ship design with this bow (auxillery).

Good job!
some details to be fixed:
I would add a horizontal blak line at the top of the bow because there is a real edge or at least a dark grey line
the hull doors should be darker (black)
The cranes should be lighter (white)
I don't understand the blue part of the aft
finally I would check whether is red the underwater hull

I agree with lighter cranes. As for the rest, I'll experiment with colors but to be honest I'm happy with how it is right now.

Alright, in real life the underwater hull is definitely darker, like maroon maybe. So here's a dilemma: should I try copying the real color of the underwater hull if I use the real livery colors for the upper hull or the standard SB colors are always correct?

I believe Colo said (though don't hold me to it) he didn't mind within the confines of sanity what the hull colour was.

A little update on the cranes and shading.

I wouldn't change anything else unless it conflicts with SB standards.

Another one. So far it was the most time consuming drawing for me :)
