you should do an check with the USN parts sheet in hands too. Mk 95, SPS-40, SLQ-32, Mk 45, all look outdated. IIRC, she had MK 115 directors instead of Mk 95 too. the TACAN might best be taken from the spruance drawings. the crane seems to be an girder design instead of the enclosed boom you have now.

also, I feel like I ask the same question a lot these days and I hope not to irritate people with it too much, but what hull shading rule are you using? I think your current hull shading does not really represent this hull shape, and I think it is better to leave that kind of shading off instead of showing it wrong.

For super-structures details, depending on the period/era you choose !
On the web you will find thousands of images from late 1970s to early 2010s !!!

I think you have to draw at least two versions of the Tarawa LHA class
- A late 1970s version (with 5" guns and 1970s sensors/radars & airwing)
- A 2000s version (the ultimate version with the last sensors/radars & airwing)

Aaand...I'm working on this one, too. Yours is much better, though, so I defer. I'd have had it up sooner, but the fact that I have to use an external image host is a PITA. Looks great, keep it up.
