I thought you meant the bulge on the bow. My bad.

I've removed the bulge and added the rudder and screws from Tennessee for place holders. The only thing left from the original hull are the belt and the bulbus bow.

I'll add your name Karle since you gave me a lot of Tennessee.

Were the existing screws & rudder inaccurate? It looks a bit of a mess now

Edit - no longer relevant as image was changed.

I understand....hahaha...that one didn't even cross my mind, Karle! But, I'm happy all's sorted out!, and, btw, shaping up to be yet another DL-cracker drawing!

Oh, btw, feel free to use the 50-ft steam pinnace and other ships' boats from the Pennsylvania, if it's suitable. I've added a 36ft steam pinnace to the (as yet unposted) Colorado. Let me know if you need that!

Enough for today. But, here she is, the USS New Mexico (BB-40) as commissioned in 1918:

Looking good so far. By far my favorite of all the USN BBs as she just looked more balanced than most and that clipper bow certainly helps.

Very nice, I have to admit American Battleships are growing on me. The clipper bow does help her appearance.
