it had German 10.5 cm AA guns?!?

No time to get sloppy and place just "what resambles it most" type of guns and other ordanance, when you guys really need to drawn something out from the blue...

I read somewere It got an FLAK 10.5 gun, since we got some in service, but I'll check it out twice :?

if it did, then its ok, but Didn't the ship serve mainly with British forces during the occupation?

yes, that's true. But most guns carried on Dutch were from German orign or from 1919 or 1923. Later British guns were used. Most modern ships got modern Bofors though, when build after 1934.

The ship was used for convoy duties in the Northern Atlantic and so also served with Dutch Mechant ships.
She was converted to MAC Carrier in the UK and served with a Dutch crew. The planes were from the No. 860 (Dutch) amd 861 (Dutch) Squadrons. The planes did sink one submarine which later unfortunately turned out to be the Free French submarine "La Perle". It was converted back at RDM Rotterdam after May 30th, 1945 (then it was teken out of active service) and finally scrapped at Hong Kong in 1958. the armament was British 1 x 4 inch (102 mm) HA/LA, two 40 mm Bofors, six 20 mm Oerlikon and held 4 Swordfishes.
