Found one other thing, the brown stripe on the side, what is it supposed to be? The "walking planc" was higher and further aft and the line at that place I see on photos, always seem to be in the same colour as the flank.

It's a ''Dutch- Boegspier'' for sloops so they can be moored. They are not a place for always you are changed some time dealing the sizes of sloops

Off course, logical. I have looked at all the photos I have of the ship and on every photo it was painted in the colour of the flank of the ship at that location, so brown should in my vieuw not be the best colour used. But just my opinion.

It's a boom for tying up small-craft while the ship is at anchor.

Just another tip. on the bow of the ship, you can see the small 'rail' steps leading down in front of the anchor. On photos they do not run so far down as shown on the drawing, but just to the same hight as the porthole. Nice detail is that on Hr. Ms. Sumatra, the same steps are situated more above the anchor.

Cute ship! Didn't those early torpedoboots have internal torpedotubes located in the upper bow?
