SS Natalie o. Warren was the first LPG carrier. Converted in 1946 from the C-1 S cargo ship Cape Diamond, she lasted untill 1967. (the first purpose built Lpg carrier was built in 1953)

The top of the "fin" is not shown, but other than that, great looking ship!

And the white on the structure makes it hard to discern which is "air" and which is the ship.

According to the Chief Officer on the ship I work on, there's still some 40 Liberty ships registered as actual merchants. Pretty good for a ship that was only designed to cross the Atlantic. Once!
