After Epic research :roll: , I found them
- 1922-1971 data's
(moved to dunkirk by 09/1940 & ready to be used for operation seelowe (invasion of britain), moved to Brest by 30 september 1940, sink a 1st time by 10.11.1942, recovered, scuttled at St-Malo on 10 july 1944, recovered a second time in july 1945, after war transferred to France as "Tenace" & finally retired by 1971 ;) )

- 1944 drawing (presence of one single 20mm forward & one single MG (7,92mm ?) aft)
you can draw it in 1944 ;)

very nice work, indeed!

Some educated(?) guesses regarding the AA-fit of the 1944 version:

I doubt, that a 2cm on a submarine-mount would have been used.
Using the 2cm on the single mount c/30 would be more plausible imho.
(iirc some tugs even used captured enemy guns?)

"Kriegsschiffe 1815-1945" by Gröner states, that two MG were mounted, but I'm not sure about the MG34 twin-mount, that you've used.
Only ever seen those by the Heer and on E-Boats.
My guess would be two single pintle(?) mounts.

Edit:
A bit hypothetical, but by '44 the ship would almost certainly have been camoed.

The U-boat 20mm mount seemed to better match the plan better, but I'll admit my knowledge of the German surface fleet is lacking. As for the MG, the only one on the parts sheet is the twin and I'm unsure if there's enough difference between the mounts to make a difference in SB scale.

A submarine mount wouldn't make any sense, though.

Those were specialized mounts, able to be retracted into the deck of the sub. As to whistand the high pressure, when being submerged.


Also those MG-mounts were also somewhat special and would have been a rare sight on a tugboat. The size difference between those twin mounts and some pintle mounts would be quite noticeable in SB.
