Great work, and I'll even venture a "about time" comment.
Would love to see these as the guided missile variant (only Mitcher, and one other, whose name escapes me), and also the refitted destroyer leader with the 3"/70 as well as DASH hangar .
One ship (DL-4) was also fitted with the enormous sized SQS-26 bow sonar for trials

Regarding "about time", Mitscher had been drawn once, long ago. It's in my archives, but it's not on the site. It certainly wasn't anywhere near this level of detail and quality, and I'm not even 100% sure it was scaled properly.

According to the data on my external drive where I store all Shipbucket stuff, I downloaded it seven years ago.
Quite interesting to compare it to this wonderful new drawing.

Well, back then, I didn't know that saving a drawing as gif will corrupt it. So probbably the original one was uncorrupted.
