Hi guys ! After quite some time for improvement about shading, details and redrawing of old views of the f-18, I present to you the USS NIMITZ CVN-68 ! :) Feel free to comment ! The plan view is planned but will not be released soon due to my work :roll:

Commissionned May 3rd 1975, the Nimitz is the first of the popular series of 10 nuclear powered aircraft carrier. It participed at a number of modern conflict with differents airgroups who are rotating between the ships of the class. In 2009, the CVW-11 is composed of 77 aircrafts constitued mainly of F/A 18F-G (4 squadrons), EA-6 Prowler (Electronic warfare) E-2 Hawkeyes (AWACS), Seahawks (Anti-Subs), C-2 Greyhounds and UC-12 Beachcrafts for transport. The CIWS onboard are 2 SEA RAMS launchers and 2 Sea sparrow II launchers that will be replaced by 2 Phalanx near after. The USS NIMITZ is home of nearly 5700 men and women for the airgroup and the ship.

Congratulations on finishing such an enormous endeavour! This ship had been missing for too long.
One thing that caught my attention was the ammount of shades of grey used on the ship and their disparity across it. It looks as if some sections are overly dark and others very very light. Depending on what software you're using, it would not be very hard to consolidate these to give it a more uniform look.

I have some color quibbles (I'd change to a more modern blue, and I think the anchor is a little too gold, retention award notwithstanding), but it's unquestionably an excellent drawing. I'm happy to see it.
