Naval Artist Abram Joslin actually did this concept once over at the warship 3.0 forum. I don't know why he never ended up migrating over here but here is a link to his line drawing... really great stuff.

Getting better, but you're aware that there's a USN ships boats sheet, right? And please remove the stem frills! They have no place, nor agrees with historical accuracy.

Looks much better in that scheme, I can actually see the ships outline and detail! Measure 21 is effective in breaking up an outline but sure detracts from seeing the effort the artist puts into drawing the image in the first place.
