Post subject:  LCS Burke

Came across this cursed Burke concept recently and decided to make a quick sketch. The story behind this is that in 2008 as it was becoming clear that LCS was shit a couple of grad students at MIT, apparently failing to read past the headline as to all the reasons LCS was turning into a disaster, proposed as an alternative a massive refit to Flight I Burkes that would allow them to carry the absolutely and entirely perfect mission modules which would be unable to go on the LCS ships. The basic refit consisted of removing the aft VLS and gutting most of the stern in favor of a hangar and mission bay capable of carrying all of the same modules as an LCS.

They also proposed doing similar things to a Perry.
