Excellent work, really improved on drawings of the Pen. class. The only thing is that the 1945 version should have an open bridge.

Great design but how many 8" guns? 12, 10, 8? Also, your 1945 version should have an open bridge projecting out. The US Navy like the RN open bridge to fight the air-battle. For a little while anyway. after the war they enclosed them again. See Friedman's "US Crusiers"

You know that you don't have to post twice... you have an edit button in the bottom right corner, where you can edit you post ;) You are also necromancing an old post, that you was the last to post on in September last year!

Anyway. Cruisers in that periode was either build with enclosed bridge or starting to get enclosed bridge. There are even some cruiser drawings from back in 1929 that have enclosed bridge.
