One more time, please, follow the style guide in regard of the shading of the hull.

If that is your first drawing, good job ;-)

Just some additional details that should be fixed:
- some of the boats are pixelated, you should draw them in the turned position instead of using the program to turn them
- the range finders on the main artillery (top view) should also be outlined black
- the top view of the planes looks somehow broken?

Hi Martin,

thank you for your comments. :) No, this is not my first drawing but my first one which I have published in a forum. I have drawn five or so ships during the last and the current year. Most of them are still under construction. They all have this "gradient shading" in some details, though I don't use any "shading-program", all drew by hand via MS paint. Meanwhile I have redesigned the bulges, but they are looking quite ugly now. I will upload the updated version soon. I know that the boats still do have that grey pixels, remainings of MS Word. I will try to draw the boats in the right angle, but this will take a lot of time, because I don't have the requested skills. This will be the biggest challenge of the whole ship. What I don't understand is your comment about the outlines of the rangefinders. They are completely outlined in black except the recently added details. But these ones cannot be outlined in black, they would loose the whole shape because they are too tiny to be outlined in black. I also don't understand your comment about the airplanes. Do you mean the wings which look broken? Could you please specify?

added: Ah, I now know what you meant about the rangefinders. You meant the rangefinders which are directly mounted on the 12 inch turrets. Ok. I think I will not outline them in black, because the turrets are also not outlined in black. In comparison to my first version, I have removed all intense inner lines of the turrets. This action required also adjusted colours with the outlines.

This is really excellent work. I really like your take on the main battery directors. It reminds me that in some senses Shipbucket drawings can actually be teaching instruments (if the student is willing). The much older drawing of this director was a mass of black and gray that might have accurately represented the side view of that structure, but here it's clear: 'oh, there are clearly two wide-base optical rangefinders'.

My take on what Shipbucket format/style 'means' is my own, and may not be something that others share, but I like to learn from drawings :)

I'm not sure if anyone's noticed it yet, but the primary, secondary, and tertiary battery turrets are all outlined in gray rather than black.

Hi Guys, hope you are all well. Meanwhile I have done some minor revisions. But this has not taken 4 months. I also have nearly finished another project during this time. What me nearly costs all of my nerves was to put the big dinghies in the right angle according to SB rules without using MS Word. But I have left the small dinghies in the old style and did not revise them.
Further I will show the history of the modyfied ships to show the reader what has been changed. Hopefully nobody gets me wrong here by doing this. ;)
