How the Spica I torpedoboats might have looked if they where modernized in the same way as Spica II/ Norrköping class.

Proposal 1. With Harpoon which the navy prefeered in the late 70s. The purchade of Harpoon was canceled in favor of Rb15 to much dislike by the navy.
Proposal 2. With Rb15 as the Ystad/ Norrköping/ Spica II 1980-84 modification.

Nice work, a couple of very interesting proposals. I hadn't realised that the Swedes were so keen on Harpoon.

Yes, the cancelation of Harpoon was in the last minute and even the C-in-C of the navy was furious with the polititians. The RBS15 was a quick development by SAAB of airforce Rb04E in to RB04 Turbo later Rb15. It took just 6 months and the airforce and navy finnaly got a common missile.

No one regretted the decision to cancel harpoon when we got Rb15

You did forget to add the booster that allows harpoon to be actually launched though on your drawing... ;)
