Updated some old drawings, did some new ones.

My take on the fictional SS Titan from the novel "Futility" from 1898 which told the story of a giant trans-Atlantic liner that struck an iceberg and sank. Some aspects are eerily similar to the story of the Titanic, others less so.

Designs from the Joseph L'Episcopo novels "One Final Voyage" and "Oceanic Crossing". In ONV, Titanic is on her final voyage before retirement in 1937 and meets up with the new Oceanic III in the mid-Atlantic for a photo opportunity to introduce White Star's new airline service to supplement their liners. The Titanic in 1937 is modified to have more lifeboats and the modified paint scheme that Olympic had late in her career. I based Oceanic on the real design, but updated it to look more modern, in the same way that Queen Elizabeth looked more modern that Queen Mary. The Majestic in the books isn't the ex German liner, rather a new design built in the 1920's so I based it on an enlarged version of Britannic III but with conventional funnels instead of the short funnels. Heroic is supposed to be the third of the Oceanic Class liners, with the second, Homeric, being pretty much a copy of Oceanic. I modified Heroic to have two funnels.

This is Olympic is she had been repainted for cruising like Mauritania was late in her career.

Gigantic is based on pre-WW1 media reports that White Star was planning a 1000 foot sister to Olympic & Titanic. The reports were wrong, and the real Britannic was built instead but I wanted to see what it might have looked like.

Some Wesworld liner designs. Oceanic III and Olympic II are much larger than the real Oceanic III design since we have somewhat of a "Liner Race" to build the biggest and fastest. Columbia was built for the new United States Lines in the 1920's using machinery from two canceled Lexington class Battlecruisers. America is the US answer to Normandy, Queen Mary, and the White Star giants. I've found several other designs in the "Damned By Destiny" book on canceled liner designs that I want to retcon into the US fleet as well. I also drew America as a troop transport, though the situation in Wesworld makes it less likely that she will ever be used as such.

Any chance you could draw SS United States, because that would be awesome.

Great collection Canis. A whole load of very plausible what-ifs. RMS Gigantic looks very nice, what a pity they didn't build a fourth sister!

While you're at it you should do some of your military WW stuff in Shipbucket style too.

Impressive collection!

What else is on your to-do list? I'm also interested in passenger ships but I don't have any specific plans yet...
It would be nice to know what are you planning to work on so we wouldn't cross-pass each other.

I'll see what I can write up. I pretty much just hop from project to project as the mood moves me.
