A very well executed drawing, but I think the concept is more than a little dubious.

It's very impressive, certainly, but I don't think the last stated name suggestion is realistic, given the Japanese preference for naming ships. Maybe you can find a better option, that more accurately reflects that?

I threw the last name in there as an homage to Craig Burke's "Furashita's Fleet". :) He had a similar BB with that name, but she only had 8 x 20-inchers. And one thing's for certain, this class was the "Grand Champion" of the IJN BB force.

Wow. Want to see the springsharp.
Also, the Yokozuna by Craige Burke had 12 18" guns, due to 20" barrels shortage in his AU. :)

God! your ship makes even my oversized Muteki Nippon and Arizona look small and under-armed
Reminds me when i was 15 and drew 500-meters battleships with 6 quadruple turrets
I like it ;)

I did the same thing at that age...my biggest ship made the H-45 look like a freakin' tugboat...mine was 8,700 feet long and carried 9 x 725-in. guns!

BTW: I hope I did your hull justice!

NICE! Unless of course, if you are the DD picket that this thing is barrelling towards. Then it is not so nice  I really like the twin Yamato funnels too, they give it more elan than one giant one.
As for big ships, be warned, I have something in the works.

I agree...I always liked the two-funnel Yamato myself. And it really wouldn't need to be seen by DD pickets...I imagine them thar 20s had a pretty far reach! Ooh, another big ship...is it an IJN one? :)
