I know it's a matter of national pride: but if the TAF bombers are operating at night with the RAF (according to an earlier post), might they have adopted a low visibility version of the Lone Star insignia?

I don't normally post WIPs, but this is my first aircraft carrier:

[ img ]

The hull is drawn from a Cimmaron Class fleet oiler, with techniques taken from other artist's carriers that I thought were good practices.

There are other details I still have to add, and any advice is appreciated. Still working on hull shading until it looks right.

Looking great! I can't really comment on the details, however, I notice you have a 5" gun at the rear, but none at the bow (unless, maybe, there's one on the port side bow)?
