Rondondo/Rowdy.Very nice drawing mates. You seem to have reproduced the style and age of the ship well.

Perth and Australia look very nice!

Try looking at escort carrier aircraft for your bomber. With a speed of 16 knots, that would be your best bet.

Yeah, Converted Carriers seem to be most fitting.

Darwin Class Cruiser, River class (Condamine and Derwent subclasses), and the 1930's submarine concept to be here soon

Long wait, and not quite what I promised Rowdy36 (that's coming very soon) the "Large Projected Australian Submarine" was a look into the feasibility of a large, long range submarine for escorts and patrols. I have not finished the above hull (Yes I do need an anchor) but need some input to keep it going

I think this is the first submarine on SB that isn't full-hull.

Nope. Early versions of various UK SSNs and SSBNs were not full hull either.

Will there be a full-hull version to come? It looks like a nice scouting submarine.

Hmmm... interesting, Rodondo, regarding the BC HMAS Australia. However, I think your modernization proposal is slightly flawed on several counts: your stem (prow) has a very odd flattened angle compared to the rest of the foc'sle rise. Secondly, I believe the bridge structure would've been built up even more considerably than you've done here, and, honestly, what is it with your insistance on those peculiar, not very realistic bridge window rows that are a feature of all your drawings? - Check R.A. Burt and Allan Raven for references for how the Brits would've handled a rebuilding. (cf Iron Dukes, the Tiger, QEs and "R"s!) Thirdly, your funnel caps are way, way too modern or avantgarde for the time! With a new, oil burned machinery, I also believe this vessel could make do with only one funnel (preferrably the second, or aft one!) Also the lack of more modern AA is striking. I don't think, either, that the large boat stowage would've been retained.

So far for now...

As TimothyC said, there are a few (this is possibly the earliest non-full-hull sub though), however a full hull is in the works

As I mentioned in this post before, yes.

Thanks, scouting is a possible application for this design

It is still a WIP, though almost finished

1.Is there any issues from the flat prow? I kind of like it but if there is any issue from it I will give it attention

2.I agree with you on that. After awhile after finishing I realized I was not very happy with the bridge "tower"(so it shall be rectified) and your mention of a built up bridge is being done in the next refit as well.

3. I had a look at the QE's in 1924 and 1937 and I agree with you on the window rows, they do look silly

4.I suppose the caps would be fine on a late 1930's refit? I am contemplating(most likely) removing the fore funnel as it fouls up my plans for the 1930's refit

5. I was planning on extensively modernizing the AA in the 1930's refit when air power was greater

6.The boats have been removed in the 1930's refit, I'm probably going to transfer these changes into the 1920's refit to make way for the more modern AA you mention

Then, my friend, I'll be looking forward to seeing your upcoming versions! And, yes, please take a closer look at the sheer or rise at the bow; it kinda droops...
