Bad title I know, but here is my first design for this "Alternate History", the SMS Kaiser Wilhelm II. She is classed as an "Ultra" Battleship, built in the 1940's. More vessels are on the way.

What's with the white crosses on seaplanes then? German imperial roundel was a black "iron cross".

I you look really closely, I think it's the white cross with a partial black outline the Germans used during WWII.

The Germans never used a white cross. Hungary and Italy did.
So the question remains: why the cross is white?

It is not. It is surrounded by the black border. It is the German cross from WWII. You just have to look very closely or zoom in on it.

Good luck with the German cruisers. It seems pretty hard even thinking about modernizing those things.
