The German cross was never white with a black border- it was black with a white border.

There was a black line framing the white border to show the edges of the white border, but the Cross inside was always black.

The Armor belt goes bow to stern? I thought almost everyone went to All or Nothing at some point...You'll save weight if you just run the belt from Anton to Dora (at least I think that's how the Germans named their BB turrets.)
