It's mostly because the cruiser is build from a different era than the Destroyer, and for a different task. But if you could stae what is wrong it would be better. I just hate people that doesn't say whats wrong, but I'll let you pas because I know you are and ol bas*** and a big master at sb I just love you'r way of drawing and I always know that you will comment if you are bothered. Greetings from the biggest bastard in Norway!!

BTW, If there are no comment of the ship about things that need's fixing...

And some story of the cruiser.

The Barham class was build as an cruiser that combined very long range with speed and armament and endurance. Here task was to protect colonies that is far away. the distance between these colonies gave the need of an ship that had the range and endurance to stay out there over long period of time while patrolling. Here Firepower was 4 triple turrets with 175 mm guns and a secondary of 4 twin 133 mm Heavy DP guns and some torpedoes, this gave Barham the firepower to deal with any treat it come over and also the possibility to slow down enemy movement enough to at a allied fleet can intercept it.

Totally there was build six of them. they worked in a group of three and three supported by 4 large Destroyers. There task was to patrol the water in front and around the colonies, while the main fleet are staying so central as possible in the colonies so they should have the ability to intercept any enemy ships in any direction.

"An standard colonial protection fleet consist of, 3 cruiser, 4 large Destroyers, 7 escort destroyers, 2 Dreadnought or battleships and one small aircraft carrier, and if possible an large aircraft carrier" The area they are protecting is so big that if the fleet moves as fast as possible from on end of the colonies to the other end, it would take them 2 to 5 days depending on weather and what ships are in the fleet, thus there was need for a long range high speed cruiser that could be the eyes and the only thing that can slow down possible enemy.

The design of the ship

The ship was build with a tall hull to give more space for the crew, the center main deck was covered up high to give the crew a safe place to stay in bad weather if there is necessary for them to move out on the deck. the forward hull was made taller than Normal cruiser and destroyer hull to try to keep the forward deck a bit dryer, this gave here and very weird look. here power plant could get this ship up in a speed of 34-37 knots on a good day, but normally here standard top speed would be 31-32 knots.

A very impressive ship, I reckon she'd be seaworthy in any weather given that freeboard and flared bows.

It's one of the main reason for here.
