Murrumbidgee: Nice, very nice. Interesting place for the Ikara.

Daring Class: errr... Can I have one? I promise I'll treat her like a lady.

Gidday Easty
What a surprise to see a Daring.
My brother in law was navigator on one of these during the 70's.
Somehow during a visit, I as a 10 year old, got to steer for a while from Plymouth to Portsmouth.
Great fun and the helmsman couldn't stop laughing at me for not saying yes captain after each course correction.
I think they had a bit of lend of me, but very exciting for a ten year old!
Thanks mate.

Great drawing! Regardless of what bloody parts you use!

I used the latest drawing and then with the aid if a detailed photo of HMAS Derwent added some further detail. As this is an AU I felt that I could bend the rules slightly. I think I have australianised the twin mounts somewhat giving them a unique identity.

Looks fantastic and you don't need any permission from me to turn out eye catching work like that!

Perhaps change the Bofors mounts for newer ones from the parts sheet too, those old ones are pretty ugly and too big. I've no worries with you "Australianising" parts, that's the whole essence of shipbucket.

looks superb.
One I contemplated was replacing the Darings 4.5's for US 5inch Mk42 for a Aussie variant.
