acelanceloet : what do you think if change only ZW06 to MW08? i'm use in the first design but not sure about the timeline. Ayutthaya general frigate use MW08 but built in 2001. sadral first start in this ship and come to the standard CIWS of Ayutthaya Navy (some ships use Phalanx some ships will use RAM but many ships use mistral missile)

Gollevainen : thanks again. i have real design plan for thailand ,myanmar ,malaysia and brunei but very slowly. i think i will start from small ship or support ship

After ayutthaya country come back in 1982. China have the diplomatic relationship with many deals. one of them was to transfer new warships to the Navy. Ayutthaya Ping Ping class base on Type 062 class gunboat (NATO codename: Shanghai-II class)[ img ] but superstructure and an open-top bridge modify from Type 037 class submarine chaser (NATO codename: Hainan class)[ img ]
Ping Ping(Chinese name=Peaceful) and Ping An(Chinese name=Peace) can no longer venture into the open sea. they are still reliable enough to perform the duties of low speed inshore surveying tasks within the confines of river mouths and bays of Ayutthaya coastlines. Goodwill ambassadors (but have 37mm guns and 25mm guns) were stationed in the Chaopraya river near the congress of nation.

these are again really really nice drawings. Another fine example how small also works in SB scale. Your AU has great taste for desings.

in 1985 China Government offer special deal to the Ayutthaya Air Force.F-7M Airguard Improved J-7II variant for export with western avionics.Total cost of 12 aircrafts (8 F-7M and 4 FT-7M) and 60 PL-7 air-to-air missiles( the PRC version of the French Magic R.550 missile) = $75 million

Relationship between two countries are very good. Ayutthaya plan to bought 6 Type 053H2 (Jianghu-III) Frigates,200 Type 69-II Tanks and 400 Type 85 AFV. However, in 1988 Burma bought 36 Fighter Aircrafts (F-7M Airguard) from China and 3 Romeo class submarines in the next year. So Ayutthaya protested by cancel all orders and stop to use Chinese weapons.

F-7M Airguard were stationed in the air force base near Cambodia. in 2000 the air force switch them to the Aggressor Squadron until now. all aircrafts have the maintenance services by Israel

Nice, though I'd suggest You'd rather use FD scale aircraft. Planebucket (SB-scale) aircraft are generally meant to be put on templates together with ships. ;)

What a great thread with interesting and realistic designs!
I particularly like the Ping Ping above. Would it be fair to say it was somewhat influenced by this?

IN 1970 USA Goverment built PF-103 class warships with a half price (by American Shipbuilding Company) for best friend in Vietnam War, Kingdom of Greater Thailand (Next AU in someday). 4 corvette ships install the old weapons but update by install the AN/SPG-34 radar antenna fitted atop the 76/50 guns. In 1982 2 ships transfer to Ayutthaya Country and stationed in Andaman Sea (to fix the confused problems).
