I missed that question entirely! If you follow common USN practice, then you will erect two platforms, angled outward, on top of your forward superstructure, somewhere between he two smaller auxiliary deckhouses. These platforms, being fairly small doesn't need struts or supports.

It pleases me greatly, that you appear to find my modest suggestions worthwhile.
Thank you.

The Kimon Class was designed in mid 1960's based on Australian Brisbane Class, which was based on US Coontz Class. Both RHN and IFAN wanted a guided missile destroyer capable of providing air defense together with anti submarine helicopter. Armament has similarities ( e.g US Ordnance Mk42 gun) and many differences, of which the most significant are the choice of the US ASROC system and the GMLS Mk10 with Terrier missiles first and SM-1ER later. Also Kimon carries RGM-66 missiles for anti-surface warfare or the RGM-67ER (an RGM-66 with a Mk12/Mk70 booster), while very early received CIWS (Phalanx Block 0).
Propulsion is also different, Kimon is steam powered like the Coontz, however using 600psi boilers. The characteristic feature of Kimon I Class (and Miltiades Class) is these macks, which send fumes directly astern, reducing significantly smoke deposits on rear radar antenna and directors.

All ships were modernized to NTU Standard in mid to late 1980's and later received several more small improvements, such as the modified Mk42 guns with automatic reload and the indigenous long range ammunition Athos. Last Kimon Class destroyer decommissioned in Nov 2014, replaced by the new Als-150 AAW destroyers of Kimon II Class.

Another design I found in my computer is this, the All terrain Vehicle Alta 1200/1300.

Look in my thread about FD-scale designs of my AU

Some viewers may wondering about HLK relationship with nuclear technology, as I referred in the "Nuclear Allergy" of the Left Side Parties.

HLK does have one nuclear reactor, named "Democritus I" , which is a US designed research reactor capable of producing also radioactive isotopes for medical use. This reactor belongs to Hellenic Center for Scientific Research , which originally established in 1929. The reactor is operational since 1961, when the research center was renamed "Democritus". Apart from the radioisotopes, HCSR made an extensive research in protection from radioactivity, developed a series of RTG (radioisotope thermoelectric generator) for remote transmitters/beacons, lighthouses and meteorological stations under the program "Leucippus" started in mid 1980's.

Also a particle accelerator and an atomic clock were developed by HCSR Democritus and built entirely in Hellenic Kingdom. The accelerator is operational from 1990 and the atomic clock "Ctesibius I" entered service in 1994. Its successor, the Ctesibius II, replaced the I in 2006. Both are of cesium beam type and the latest variant is equivalent with the 1990's US NIST-7 in accuracy.

Until 1987, uranium for the reactor was imported from USA, but government decide to fund the creation of a small facility for mining and enriched uranium domestically. This program was secret and revealed only in 2002.

The institutes of the Hellenic Center for Scientific Research are (all are real, except the Institute of Solar Energy & Technology):

Nuclear & Radiological Sciences & Technology, Energy & Safety
Nuclear and Particle Physics
Advanced Materials, Physicochemical Processes, Nanotechnology & Microsystems
Solar Energy & Technology
Informatics and Telecommunications
Biosciences and Applications

The official view of Hellenic Kingdom about Nuclear Weapons is "Hellas does not need nuclear weapons and is against use of nuclear technology for constructing weapons". Even the most extreme Hellenes nationalists agree with this view. When the North Korean Nuclear Program was revealed in 1994, The King of Hellas said "South Korea, you can count on us too, if need us we will come".

Current Conflicts:

Operation Atalanta (mostly Hellenic Coast Guard vessels from 2006-present)

Previous Conflicts:

Great Revolution : 1821-1829
Thessally War : 1897
Balkan Wars 1912-1913
WWI: 1914-1918
WWII: 1940-1945
Korean War: 1950-1953
Cypriot War : 1974
Somalia : 1993-1999
Iraq War: 1991,2004-2009
Afghanistan : 2002-2011

Note 1:Before comment about my armed forces size, have in mind that HLK has to counter an enemy about five times in population with the 7th largest military personnel in the world.
Note 2: Numbers are calculated from those of real Hellas, while other are real. Also I kept real Hellas anthem and I add motto, something real Hellas does not have.
Note 3: Some city names are taken from real ancient Hellas.
Note 4: Hellenic Kingdom did not send bombers/fighters in post-Cold War conflicts, mostly medical and engineering armed forces personnel, plus their supporting personnel.
Note 5: Hellenic Kingdom exports cars and transportation equipment mostly in Africa, South America and Middle East. Domestic production of cars/lorries covers about 50% of domestic needs in total, while particularly in buses domestic production is up to 80% of needs.
Note 6: Death penalty in Hellenic Kingdom does not been abolished, however last executions carried out in 1946-1947. No one ever punished or executed in Hellenic Kingdom because of his/her political ideas and never will.
Note 7 : All State Services and Armed Forces in Hellenic Kingdom use a domestic software, which was never offered for export, only for domestic market. It is based on Hellenic language and also a home variant for use by citizens exist. Also in use by most of Hellene immigrants worldwide.
Note 8: City of Alexandroupoli in this scenario was named by Alexander the Great, but the name changed a little to avoid confusion with Alexandria in Egypt.
Note 9 : In Hellenic Kingdom a citizen can do everything he or she wants for living, without all those ridiculous "licenses" of real Hellas, as long as he or she obeys the state laws.

* In this scenario the real city of Plovdiv is located on the opposite bank of Evros river of its real position, the name Philippopolis is actually the hellenic name of Plovdiv.
* In Hellenic Kingdom political system the First Minister is the Minister of State and Autonomous Territories, second below the King.

:D Nice to see my template in use.
Everything looks good, including the military. Granted it is large, but I think you have a reasonable threat level to warrant the size.

Oh, and BTW, great work on the Kimon class and the Alta ATV!
