I should be ready to post some drawings once I have converted the Lexington over to the new colors.

Sorry for the double post. You can find the Lady Lex, the SoDak and the Connie on post #1.

Here is the first cruiser of the AU. The light cruiser Pensacola. She is finished as she was in real life. And would spend the rest of her career as a light cruiser. She would serve as the prototype for the two future classes. The six Northamptons and the nine Pensacola class cruisers. The last two ones will be larger and much more effective than in real life due to there being no treaties to limit the cruisers, nor will there be any distinct differance between light and heavy cruisers as in real life.

Saweet...awesome work! If this is how she looked as completed in real life, why not post her in the Real Designs thread as well?

Also: Are you writing a backstory to this, by any chance?

Backstory to the AU or the ship? As for putting the drawing into the real life section, I`m not sure, sources for the Pensacola early in her career is scarce. Few good pictures, most are low rez.

A backstory to the AU. As for the ship herself, if you post her in the Real Life section, doubtless Colombamike will have a list of incorrect things that only he can spot and he might provide some drawings too.

The backstory is this; there are no treaties. End of story.
