Wel is actually a Helicopter Carrier, but couldn't find a properly designation, the most similar (due only to the sensor) is the DDH, and her primary weapons are the helicopters, leaving at artillery and missiles just the last line of defense. The FEP is intended to be economical, rather than COGAG/CODAD/CODAG, also very silent in the ASW hunt... |

CVH would be the most accurate designation, if you use USN-style hull codes. |

To be fair to them, both the Hyugas and Izumos can attain at least 30 knots and in the case of the Hyugas, employ ASROC too. So not so sneaky
