Krait Class Regional Patrol Vessel
AS Krait (the only vessel of this class) is permanently assigned to patrolling, supporting and enforcing maritime law in the Christmas Island region. Christmas Island houses a processing station for people who arrive illegally in Suspected Illegal Entry Vessels (SIEVs). AS Krait provides interception and transit functions for the processing station as well as general patrol duties in Australia's north western economic zone (NWEZ).

Another very nice design.
Certainly seems to have a lot of SATCOM equipment! I guess that's no bad thing given the patrol role and the area of ocean to be covered.

Hyundai HCS165 Crane Ship
To assist with logistics support and defence aid to locations without wharfing facilities (which there are vast amounts in and around Australia's EEZ), AS Pacifica was constructed based on the Hyundai HCS165 model and modified to suit AUSDEF-N requirements. She can carry up to 24 portable wharf modules, 8 containers externally on deck, 12 containers below decks, heavy plant and vehicles as well as a 20 bed hospital with 2 operating rooms.

AS Pacifica can be underway in less than 24 hours and is based at Fleet Base East.
