Nice drawing; but if I remember the model right, of the two large turrets, should the forward one be on the starboard side and the aft one on Port side?
Actually... no, not on this ship.
http://www.arkmodel.com/b7510_e.htm

Both turrets were forward of the boiler room, placed en echelon.
His drawing is accurate- and according to these models, the superstructure was white- which should help with that nasty black-on-black problem.
You got me wrong (probably because english is not my native language).
I know that both turrets are in front of the boiler room. But on the model the starboard turret is in front of the port turret.

But Spambot has already answered this issue.

Nah... looking back what you said makes perfect sense- I just didn't get a lot of sleep last night and it got misunderstood (as most en echelon ships had one turret forward of the stack(s) and one aft).

My apologies.

I reworked the color scheme to something more historical, and improved the shading, so is hopefully looking a little better.

Three things just came to mind.
1: The turrets should be displayed fore-n-aft
2: There's no shading that I can see under the various platforms and overhangs
3: Boats doesn't stack like that. The stack like bowls.

Thiel are you sure in this case? As I look at the superstructure and mast's it might be to compact to turn the turrets in front and back directions. If that's the case you have one of these occasions where you can bend the rules.

They should fit. If they didn't the turret on the far side should be showing it's rear and not its front.
Here's a picture that explains the basic layout.

Here it is with most of the above suggestions made, except I decided to compromise on the fore and aft gun alignmnent, having my reasons for originally displaying them in that position.
