Any bets on what the blast wave from those turrets is going to do to the SS-N-2s?

The launchers will have to be shock hardened, kinda like the Harpoon launchers on the 1980`s Iowa. Otherwise, it`ll very expensives to operate this ship.

Even so, they didn't place them right next to the turrets, either.

That`s true. If the launchers were moved further back, all the way to the runway deck, they might be saved from the shock from the guns. This repositioning doesn`t even need major redesigning of the hull and/or superstructure.

Given the tendency of Khrushchev era admirals to scrap the artillery ships, I am in general agreement with you. Even the near-complete 68-bis project cruiser No627 ("Sherbakov") were scrapped.

But I would like to believe that the battleship would not be scrapped (may be used as a training ship)
IMHO, the lack of seapower was a big hinderance to Soviet power projection abroad. That it would've been a good thing is an entirely different question...
