This CoA is now used from the Frigate F450 Elli.It was created in 1961 for the Missile Cruiser Elli,a severly modified Italian Conte de Savoia (Montecucolli) which gave to RHN as a war tribute by Italy in 1950.She had 24 RIM-8A missilles,2 190mm/55 Pyrkal guns (yes,those of Psara Class CA),8 76mm Oto Melara Allagarto,ASROC and 8 Adis I-S ASMs.Served until july 1980 and saw action in 1974 when managed to destroy 12 enemy aircrafts.In November 1980 the CoA and name passed to the first S-Class frigate built specially for RHN.Also a variant of this CoA will be of Hellenic Financial Police.
