There's no such thing as "nothing left to draw" If you can down 10 pints and draw, you're doing alright by my standards

That ship will be alot heavier than 5000 tons (challeng max weight 5000 tons) I bet she will be more like 10000 tons, and that without calculating!

While I agree it needs to go on a diet, I figure it's only 500 tons over weight

EDIT after some tinkering, it comes under 5000 tons (max) (142.98*15m*5.48m*0.423 CB)

the point of a warship is to be as effective as possible to it size.

with that size you need bigger engine to get 30 knots (a lot of weight), then you have the weight of weapon and radar. so 5000 tons NO. it is not always when calculating with (L*B*D*CB gives the correct displacement, for example my boat, if you calculated it this way you will get around 3000 tons. but I use a software where I design the hull in and that one tells me that it is about 4800 tons.

you'r ship will most likely be around 7000 tons at the moment. (CB of 0.423 is what cabin cruiser or small flybridge boat is working whit, what you want is 0.50)
