Also I have my doubts about that propulsor too. The whole things looks like you cut out a massive chunk of the hull and welded it back together...

To me this "cut out" look is funny and interesting.
But it needs some work......

maybe start by look at the way it can work inside as we did, it will naturally bring some improvement.

Yes this is a scaled down version of something I drew as a larger SSK. I did it similar to the SSK Victoria (Upholder Class)

Made some corrections regards the layout of the torpedo tubes, still has 10 of them, like the Dolphin Class (Israeli) but the arrangement should be more accurate, especially in regards to loading.

Decided to scrap my previous entry and go with a new design. Based the color scheme and some of the smaller details on Nighthunter's entry (hope you don't mind). Also, we should really do a SSN design challenge after this.

Its been a while , i actualy forgot that i changed the design a bit

So here she is: Zeehond MK2 submarine
[ img ]
About the range and stuff, my boat is 4 m longer then a german 212 submarine and i have less range (500 nm) then they do, i did that due to the adition of weapons and storage compartments what is decided to prefer instead of range.

Changes made:
- Adition of 1 extra escape hatch near crew compartment
- drawn torpedo racks in the bow area
- internal change of crew compartment and command centre
- adition of 1 extra storage in the sail
- intergrating the battery packs in to the pressure hull and build in a reserve battery pack for 48 hours of emergency power
- Also added ''blast proof'' sections in to the vessel on arround the command centre and crew compartment

I'd say that this is the best drawing you have done to date. Not every post gets a response.
