Allright sir, you convinced me!

By the way, the Royal Netherlands Navy has started modifying their ships for TBMD (Ballistic Missile Defense), which so far also include some visual aspects:

You can see they fitted two extra SATCOMS on both sides on top of the hangar, and the exhausts for the gas turbines have been modified (turned into blowers) to reduce the amount of exhaust gasses on the flight deck in certain wind directions.
Other modifications are new propellor shafts and new diesel engines (Paxmans replaced by Deutz/Wartsila).

This is HMNLS Tromp by the way, she just completed an (almost year-lasting) overhull, such a beauty!

The Zeven Provincien F802 also has a extra radar on the port side for helo guidance.
The other ships dont have this mod (yet).

These photo's were made before the F802 left for Somalia may 4th.

Great drawings. A very, very attractive ship, probably my favorite of the European superfrigates.

Check the Real Designs forum for updates to the actual drawing :D

These have been somewhat stretched to create a Destroyer variant.

nitpick: there are something making the bow look wonky just above the waterline.

What's that thing on top of the bridge on HMCS Athabascan?

the LCF's are lovely ships. Canadians would be one I would agree with as a potential customer, Australia would have been another. Been a nice basis for the type 26 frigate as well.
