Since you all are drawing battleships, I had to do it to... I hope I am not showing off this time.

The ship is for my AU (Haram), I have gone for an bland of Haram build equipment and US build equipment. This is for making it more easy for doing upgraded drawings later.

The armament:

main battery: Haven't think so much about it, but I think 16" guns, but I believe 15" guns is better for this ship and it's not totally overkill!
Secondary battery: 2 X triple 5" guns (Haram build, share parts with US 5" guns), and 8 X twin US 5" guns
AA-battery: a bland of 40 mm and 20 mm, suggestion for placement of this is appreciated.

Fire-control:
Haram build, specially designed for this class (can be an weakens to, due to the sharing of parts problem. but every ship need an weakness!)

Aircraft:
Two catapult, bellow deck hangar, ability to store ready aircraft on deck.
Can carry up to 10 scout airplane, bellow and on deck (no in the catapult). capability to carry it's own fighter's (a nice capability to have)
one large crane aft, two smaller crane side mounted.

Small boat handling:
Stored on rails, so they are easy to get down on deck, or can be pushed fast over board. Designed to work as an free fall system, where the gravity will pull the boats out of it storing place and down to the deck. There are also 4 cranes to help out (not drawn in yet)



oh she is just a couple meters longer than Iowa class!

Top view is already amazing!

But what do you mean by "you all are drawing battleships"? I haven't yet.

I'm drawing battlecruisers so neither am I

How I wish I had the skills to do overheads like that. Mine look like Lego toys in comparison...

Well done

The only thing that I might change is to have twins all through (drop the triples). In the smaller gun sizes the extra barrel does lead to significant interference with the other parts of the guns crew.

Looking good, can't wait for more.

and for my Battleship.rant..thingy... well for the past month there have been many battleships. an I decided that one day I have to make an awesome one... hopefully this one would be that one.
Well I made the turret bigger for compensating for that.

Definitely an interesting looking ship. It's giving me some ideas

a small update, finishing off underwater hull, just some small details left in that area. aft deck is also done... suggestion for aircraft's.
