During the 1930's the US department of interior had a small ship built for the purpose of supplying remote settlements in Alaska by sea. The ship was build of wood and was a motor ship, but I need to know the colors of the hull ( which i believe was black with red boot-topping) and the colors of upper-works, masts and funnel. Also if anyone can tell me the color of lifeboats (these might have been colored in high visibility paint like orange for example). After the war, a ship from the large amount of surplus cargo ships built during the war, was converted to replace the old and tired pre-war ship.
