My first attempt at a drawing. I was inspired by a copy of the Monitors general plan that I dug up with some other blueprints recently and a painting of the Battle of Hampton Roads I found while looking for more reference Images. Criticisms and suggestions are very welcome.

Welcome aboard.

It looks good. Perhaps add some shading to the turret?
You can find tips on shading on the style guide here:http://www.shipbucket.com/styleguide

Welcome!

Nice work right off the bat. I can echo Hood's comment about possibly adding some shading to show the round nature of the turret.
