Working on the Yamatos and reading up on other posts have evolved my understanding of ship balance and operation. I looked back on my old drawings of this and had an impulse to change it to were it would make some sense. When the Yamatos are said and done, im going to have another go at this quagmire.

Some base work for now. Working on hull features. I'm open to suggestions. Im aware that it is still probably over shaded.

the bulb on the bow looks a bit tiny to me, i'm not an expert, but as far as i know on modern large ships (like tankers, supercarriers and so..) the bulb protudes out of the hull from just below the waterline in order to get the beste hydrodinamic effect on drag and bow waves.

apart from this, beign workable or not your massive battleships looks really amazing.

Looking forward to it!
Might I also suggest that this thread be moved from Beginner's, it's quite obvious that Erusia Force has surpassed that threshold.

Thanks, but in terms of modern design and concept, I'm a rookie.
