I am trying to design a Semi-Dreadnought battleship with a secondary armarment of 10" guns but I'm not sure how to arange the secondary battery, should they be put in twin turrets or single sponsons. I'm loosly basing it off of Cuniberti's all big gun design.

Here's what I have so far(I will probably cut down the funnels at a later time I just drew them in for place holders)

P.S. apologies to the mods if this is in the wrong forum

What I would do is trunk your funnels into two larger ones, one fore and one aft and then have your secondaries as wing turrets, either offset to allow cross deck fire or parallel to each other to allow you to carry greater number of guns per broadside.

That might work

An alternate is a fore-aft casemate design akin to;

or like;

Both should give you some options and flexibility in terms of their use. Turrets are potentially better than casemates however a casemate will allow you to reduce your armour weight without any real sacrifice in firing arch.
