Off-Shore Patrol Vessel (OPV)
- Not real need for a aft hangar for helico. A simply helipad or a VERTERP aera were sufficient (for light-helico)
- a forward main gun of 25/35mm gun were sufficient

Ocean Patrol Vessel (OPV)
- Need for a helico hangar (for medium helico)
- Need for a main gun up to 76mm

Here is a general purpose all gun patrol version of this. How is my shipbucket colouring and labeling? After I get more feed back I hope to make more versions of this. I will also start a below the waterline version

Just a helpful suggestion, but a lot of recent craft (including those of the USCG) have a stern ramp to drive the RHIB up. It is my understanding that this allows for both faster launch and recovery. Pictures of what I am talking about can be found here, here, and here (the same type of system is used on the Sentinel Class Cutter, which is smaller than this craft so size isn't an issue). That being said, the system you have works, and even with a stern ramp, I'd keep the crane.

I might also add a few more machine gun mounts, and a life ring to two.

As for labeling, you use the B-Side to list off what you have listed here.

As a minor aside, the standard font is Arial.

Let me make sure I am clear - you've got a good design here, and is a good start.

Thank you for your comments, as for the Font i try to use Arial and it does not look right, Courier looks closer, please advise. Thanks for the RHIB info.

Not bad at all for a beginning. Thw basics are all there and its a neat little design which is not overloaded and not too cramped.

Some points that might improve the drawing and bring it fully into line with the SB rules.
1. The rake of the bows seems a little sharp, maybe lessen the angle a bit
2. Needs railings on the forecastle and ensign masts and capstans etc added
3. The hull doors are not standard SB scale, neither is the bridge door
4. The bridge windows look a little high
5. The superstructure could be smaller, around 17 pixels is high enough, might make the boat look a little less top heavy
6. The exhausts on the funnel should be outlined in black, not just grey sqaures
7. The underwater hull lacks shading but overall looks ok

Where is it supposed to play around? If you're going into the arctic, you'll need to eliminate nooks and crannies where ice could build up. The mast is especially vulnerable.
For the same reason, a remotely controlled gun with an all enclosing shield is also advisable.
