You told me all about your ships weapons, except for why you need 5 types on one ship.

Your short stern will result in a lot of turbulence, and your description of how the ship should pass trough waves would fit a sharp bow better then a bulbous one. I also do not recall any destroyer/light cruiser class ship to have a bulbous bow, and especially not one shaped like the one you drew.

With all due respect, may I recommend you to take a look at real ships for a bit and research why they are designed the way they are?

Neither of your 3 examples where cruiser/destroyer sized ships. Neither of the 3 have a bulb anywhere close to what you have drawn.

Okay, the examples shown are bigger ships. But what if "my" AU cruiser would have a small long shaped bulbuous form at the bottom of the bow? For Christ's sake, we are debating here "what if scenarios", trying to figure out what would probably have happened if... For 100% accuracy shipbucket has the "real designs" threads, right? I want to speculate on a technical basis, I want to hear opinions about some changes made to certain designs. I presume that is what AU topics are for, if we don't go too much over the line...

as I said earlier, if your cruiser had a bulbous bow like that, you get more slamming, more wavemaking resistance and more friction resistance. My point is: there is a reason why you never see them on ships like those.

That is something completely different from what you have drawn though :P
