I just had to draw this boat. I just love how she looks. She's a bit ... a collision and breakup of the the Mediterranean and Holywood with Norwegian "know how!"

Viksund 100 ALFA and 100 ALFA S

Production Period: 1987-1990
Length: 10.10 m
Length of bow spear / bathing platform: 11.50 meters
Width: 3.45 m
Draft: 0.90 m
Weight: 6000kg
Fuel: 2 * 275 liters
water: 300 liters
Speed​​: 16-22 knots (Semi planing), 20-32 knots (full planing) with today's engines (45 + knots, 42.1 knots with 2 * 310 hp stern drive, 28 knots with 1* 250 hp shaft)
Default Engine: 135 hp shaft, stern drive 150 hp.
Sleeps: from 2 to 8 beds
purchase price in 1987: up to 645,000 Norwegian Kroner (83,000 euro), depending on equipment. Today is equivalent to 1,152,233 Norwegian kroner (150,000 Euro), but if the boat was sold today, this would certainly cost approx. 2.5 million Norwegian kroner (321,000 Euro)

and now draw it in shipbucket scale..... it is doable, I have done the bavaria 34 of the same length myself.

These Viksunds...I've sailed on one of them in the Finnish Archipelago. Very nice experience...your skill in drawing these almost makes me want to use this scale to illustrate ships' boats!

I know Erling Viksund personally. I consider him as my role model and Adviser.
