More excellent work. The thematic and artistic consistency is always excellent -- you could mix or match any of these different families and series and the kitbash would look like a real thing. |

Very impressive. One explanation for one of the details is that Atlas-Centaur flights prior to Atlas II had panels that were used to insulate the cryogenic fuels from launch heating prior to second stage ignition. Starting with Atlas II, the insulation was sprayed onto the tanks (not the same insulation as Delta IV and the shuttle ET, but the same concept), and not dropped in flight. |
