IMHO the trigger guard does look better like that.
Anyway, nice work.

Went back into my Photobucket library to see if I can recover WhyMe's lost SCAR designs that I recolored and they are still intact, it's just Photobucket likes to watermark every picture that has been linked. I encourage everyone reading this to recover their Photobucket uploads and get them on some other image-linking site or just permalink from the Discord, cause a lot of masterpieces have been watermarked.

I will see if I can get the original colors for the black version.

Hello,

Thanks Eswube. Here's all the rest of the Brownells, again all chambered with the modern 5.56 and might have some differences with the original guns. These are the new modern remakes of the Colt 601, the XM16E1, the M16A1, the Colt 605, and the XM177E2. Hopefully, I'll do every other Colt variants.

Cool. I think the mags would look more realistic using a lighter shade of grey to mimic the aluminum construction -- also, the barrel on the XBRN177E2 is too short -- take a look at some photos of it and you'll see the barrel is longer (to accommodate the 16" requirement).

Thanks Colosseum! I have redone the barrel so that it is 12.7 inches in length but I have stumbled into realising the lack of a dimension on a few minute details. The handguard, while works on the 629 and the XBRN177E2, seems to be slightly too long for the 610. So, for the 610 and 629, I've shortened them slightly while having the XBRN177E2 the same. The moderator in question seems to have oddly different sizes. Wikipedia unhelpfully claims that there is 3.5 and 4.5 inch ones while also stating all military moderators are 4.25 (108mm) and 4.2 (110mm)... How they come across the numbers and conversions are beyond me.

At any rate, here're the drawings!

Hello,

Thank you for the feedback. I decided to jump a few of the model numbers and go straight to the M16A2, notable for having a thicker barrel, a reworked carry handle most especially visible, and rechambered for the 5.56x45 NATO as opposed to the .223 Remington. Other adjustments include a slightly longer stock by 5/8th of an inch and the forward assist being made circular as oppose to having a panhandle of sort.
