The way the weapons are shown being "held" by the character just looks sort of dumb. Unless you're going to redraw the guy holding the rifle at the ready position, I see no point trying to make it look as though he's holding it at all. Just place the rifle below the base to represent the weapon the guy would be using.

Yesterday was the 601:st anniversery for the Battle of Agincourt, and I got inspired. Featuring the English commanders of note, as well as a few other characters.

Take these renders with a grain of salt. They are all based of historical armours and clothing from the time period, but sources for the armours of many individuals are slim, which means interpretations are necessary. King Harry's armour might be on the opulent side, but heck...
All coat of arms are real, and portrayed as well as I can make in this scale. There wasn't really any uniforms at the time, but the fighting men on the English side were all required to wear some version of the cross of st. George somewhere on the clothes. I excepted the ones wearing their own coats of arms(i.e. the named individuals) for the sake of simplicity.

An MRAP vehicle I drew for one of my AU nations, some time ago. It is based off of the proven Ural 4320 military offroad truck.
