Very nice and very believable drawings. How does the L.1 mount a bayonet?

Good morning. Nice rifles! May I ask you one question? The rim of your ammo makes it wider at the base, I think that this characteristic is reflected in the magazines, which are curved ( as in the Bren), how do yo do with your L4 battle rifle for having a streigth mag? Cheers!

I never even thought about that! I made a new version of with the curved 30rd magazine for the rimmed cartridges as my standard, while the one with the straight magazine will be a 7.62x51mm export version.

If I ever revisit the L.1 I think I'll add a spike bayonet that is stored in the stock/handguard and is just clicked into place in a hole under the barrel. It'd probably be similar in style to the FG42's bayonet.

An assault rifle I drew up. Has a SIG SG 550 inspired receiver, AK-74 magazine (chambers 5.45mm), a G3 front end with wood furnishings, and an FN FAL stock. It uses a double crescent trigger for its select fire (top trigger semi-auto, bottom trigger full-auto) similar to the MG34 and a crossbar safety above the pistol grip. Uses a roller delayed blowback action similar to the G3/HK33.

It looks like you have a gas tube, which would be weird for a roller delayed weapon. Also, isn't the 1970iex a bit late for wood furniture?

I used a G3 front end; I think that's just there to house the charging handle. I like it aesthetically so I'll probably come up with a functional reason for that tube down the road.

And as far as the wood furniture, I think the Russians took until the 1990s to give the AK-74 polymer furnishings in the form of the AK-74M, so I'm okay with the first variant of the L.14 to have wood.
