Hello again,
I'm already started to build a ship model using drawing from here: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=7985
The final configuration is Danish frigate HDMS Tordenskjold.

Work is still on the beginning stage, but i will post what i have.

I promise, i will post a progress. It cant be lightning fast (work, kid, wife etc...) but i will push it constantly ( i'm very excited too). I will concentrate now on internal design - mounting the engine, and other electronics. Additional structural elements must be added, and decks with access hatches to machinery (if need to be repaired and replaced). I also planned to have working main radar and lightning (navigational lights and internal lighting).
When I finish with all that, real eye-candy work will begin :)

This is a really cool thread - glad to see someone using this format for model building.

My only request is to please templatize and add credits for yourself / whoever else was involved in the drawing as per the rules here. ;)

Template fixed. Also proper markings drawn too.

A curious thing about the number (F342).
The numbers of the post WW Danish frigates are without gaps. I cant find "empty" number in range. Instead of using "out of range number" I duplicate F342 number, belonging to Rolf Krake - Esbern Snare class frigate, stricken at 1962. This fits perfectly, F342 Tordenskjold will became a replacement.
This is a real practice in Danish fleet: F340 Beskytterren frigate and F340 Thetis corvette are example.

A little update: Shaft fixed, Engine foundation in progress.
Also right Limbo blast screen repositioned symmetrically to left one. Also new main deck with new superstructure foundation drawings can be seen.
