Improvement on the design above

- New fly bridge layout
- New interior color pallet
- adjustment to exterior color to fit together with interior
- main deck can come with either a day head or not
- added a 3 Cabin layout, bellow deck. with two large VIP/Master... Now witch one is the Master
- Master and VIP is still under suggestion for change, and guest cabin is still under improvement on layout (are considering have one bed above the other in two different direction, to give more floor space)
- 3 cabin layout have there own head. They are small but should have enough space.
- alternative cockpit layout, now you have the infinity deck or classic cockpit deck
- in 3 cabin layout, the master cabin have a bathtub that are part of the hull, with window that goes either down to the tub are down to waterline, for the extra experience.
- There is an 4 cabin layout, with one shared bath/head
- All large bellow deck windows are part of the yacht-hull integrity (to a degree)
- fabric opening in Bimini, will have integrated light
- solar-cell on fly-bridge, the entire Bimini will also be covered with solar-cell
- fish and general store box port-starboard (little fishing is nice :D )

added some minor details:
-wood insert in the steps up from swim platform to cockpit (aft deck)
- sunbed insert in the bow, to get a full beam sunbed
- larger cockpit mini-bar
- added a rail in front the forward deck, behind sunbed, to give a semi-Portuguese deck

It starting to become something.

Color is customer choice, this is just one of the color variant.

Standard Colors would be:
- White
- Beige
- Blue (light)
- Blue (Normal)
- Blue (Navy-ish)
- Orange (sunrise)
- Yellow (sunny day) (working to find the correct tone)
- Green
- Black (hull)
- All Black (mystique)
- Black with hint of brown and a dash of green!

- or a customer can come with something random... I want it to have the same color as my dog!

I think I'm done with the first design of the ship.

Special notes:

- equipped with Seakeeper gyro stabilizer, placed under deck in master cabin (center-line), for better performance.
- Standard Fuel tank size: 2610 liters can be upped to 3000-3500 liters with bellow deck bladders or fixed tanks
- In addition to battery bank in engine room, there is also a battery bank, bellow deck
- Master cabin have two large storage locker under deck, that also give access to gyro.
- There is an Tiny day head on main deck, but customer can choose if they want to have it or not.
- Customer can choose between standard L shaped sofa to a U-shaped sofa.
- in the swimming platform there is under deck a wet storage, that also can be used for store live fish or bait for fishing.
- On fordeck there is two locker on starboard and port: one for an electric/gas grill and one for a fridge/sink
- Central staircase following building code for staircase.
- large kitchen equipped with Wilfa equipment
- washer and dryer is placed under staircase in the master cabin

Slightly large, with some minor improvement, the biggest change, is a improved sea hull, based on a new sea-hull design made by Viksund boat of Norway, but in a lighter version due to it have a different role than the new hule type by Viksund.

The new hule design by Viksund is a:
- large Fishing vessel from 11 meters up to 15 metes (currently)
- deep hull with a light displacement shape with slight v-shape
- hard shins with a tunnel designed to trap more water/air at low/high speed + improve the hull Natural stability at low speed, in addition when not moving
- work speed area for the hull at 11 to 26 knots (as a fishing vessel)
- large length to beam ratio!
- one hull design 3-4 different length version out of same mold

My hule version changes:
- Yacht lines
- smaller Length to beam ratio
- different bulb design for more lift (still adjusting the shape of it)
- pod drift instead of shaft
- smaller tunnel for trapping air/water at speed to let it slip a little easier at higher speed
- Higher cruise speed and higher max speed. (ratio between max and cruise is hopefully smaller)

Powerplant idea: a modified Volvo Penta IPS, Diesel electric drift. thus I can place the engine in a more ideal place for the vessel stability and get better usage of internal space. With possibility to a "Wider Yacht" powerplant solution with Generators mounted in the bow, powering electric pods.

extra info: aft section sides can be laid down and double the ship width. Only when at anchor.
Internal deck height (all decks) 2.2 meter at the lowest.

Wasn't happy with it, and decided to redo it

Thus I also totally change what type of performance I want out of the hull. I decided that everything under 15 meter can be fast trawler, but everything above are more a medium slow/fast trawler (go anywhere type... but for warmer climate)

- deeper hull, 1.4 meter standard (no problem to go even deeper, but that will hurt performance!)
- full deck height of 2.20 meter, with ceiling/floor thickness at 0.28 meter (some are a lot for a ship this size) (this give opportunity for layered dampning in the floor and ceiling and hidden ventilation and lightning)
- Powerplant will be 1 big low rpm engine mounted aft with a V-drive and 1 smaller 5 knots side mounted engine with it's own shaft and ruder. (Yacht standard noise canceling of engine room, only noise, is when the Big diesel engine is working hard) (Alternatively the ship can be build with a hybrid powerplant, but there is space and carrying capacity for an enlarged battery-pack under deck (I am not using all the hull volume in this design, rest is hidden storage))
- entire aft salon can be totally opened on 3 sides, giving a "large" open aft deck area
- Bimini top can be chosen between; a standard solid carbon or fabric (with light woven into it) Bimini

bow section: bow deck is higher, giving some toy storage space between deck and cabin (there is also space for toy storage aft, you can also sacrifice some of the swim-platform space for an enlarged toy storage)

That's the classic problem when you design something, you are never happy about it. But I had to put a line on what I want out of this design!

--------------------------------------

It's coming along slowly. some minor adjustment hear and there. Cleaning up some details!

Current data (can change as nothing is set in stone):
-------------
Length: 17,38 meter
Beam: 5,30 meter (with balcony folded out: 7,26 meter)
Draft: currently designed as 1.61 meter

Propulsion (Currently envisioned) (engine solution depending which region the boat is sold for and engine installation will be done at a local shipyard in that country):
V1: Volvo Penta; D11 (510-725hp); D13 (700-1000hp); D16 MH (500-750hp) (D11 and D13 is above 2000 rpm engine, D16 is bellow 2000 rpm engine)
V2: FPT Iveco C13-500 (500hp); C13-830 (825hp)
V3: Caterpillar; C12 ACERT or C12.9 ACERT (EU stage IIIA) or C18 ACERT Tier 3 Recreational (from 660 to 1150 hp)
V4: Cummins; QSM11 (300-715 hp) or QSC8.3 (490-600 hp)
V5: MAN i6-730/600/850 (730-850hp) or MAN V8-1000/1200/1300 (1000-1300 hp)
V6: Scania; DI13 072M (600hp); DI13 077M (750hp); DI16 072M (800hp); DI16 076M (1150hp)
Hybrid:
MTU power-solution, with battery bank, with either all electric drive or direct drive from main engine trough a gearbox
Back up engine: Iveco or Volvo penta with either a direct drive and folding propeller or sail-drive (pod)
Generator: minimum 2 generator with battery bank for standby power and fully automated system (means the generator can start by it'self if the system deiced it need more power, either for hotel power or propulsion (if electric drive))

Speed: depending on propulsion solution and if electric drive or not: 6 knots up to 15+- knots (with some engine solution you can get close to 20+- knots)

envisioned characteristics (currently):
- Forecastle: large storage area under deck + escape hatches for lower deck. Handling equipment for twin anchor
- bridge fully automation but with manual override, light in the light and just for fun, ruder indication in the deck!
- Salon; all three sides can opens fully, making the outside part of the inside.
- dinning area that can expand to the outside. with space for 5 to 8 people.
- Simple sofa area with TV and a simple coffee table
- Open galley with sitting area around, perfect if you have a sushi chef!
- aft deck with various of benches and sofa.

Drawing bellow is vessel envisioned for use in Mediterranean/Caribbean, where you are most of the time outside, the ship it'self is thus more an hotel then and go anywhere (a go anywhere version would have som changes, for safety)

I keep updating.

Changes/updates:
- Twin engine installation (2x400hp+ engine setup for a speed range from 10 knots and up (depending on engine installation)
- Speed range, from 10 to 20 knots (Ideal speed for this hull is 14 knots)
- new underwater hull, a modified classic Viksund seagoing fishing boat hull that have proven sea-quality and stability.
- due to hull type, I chose to use Gyro-stabilizer instead of fin stabilizer. advantage is that is work also at 0-speed
- adjustment to interior and change of color-pallet!
- change of aft-deck, and make it a bit more open
- small adjustment for the the galley.
- different type of sink.
- build in freezer/cooler/extra storage under deck.
- Color adjustment to the bridge!
- a new permanent hardtop for the flybridge

- added a drawing showing how it will look like when both side is fully open.
