Man, I love those beret badges. Nice work on the orbats. Just out of curiosity, I don't think I recognise this symbol My first thought was "forward observer", but I don't recognise the insert, which doesn't appear to be an arrow. Which type of unit does it represent? |

It stands for Traffic/Movement Control and Courrier. The symbol ist a signalling disc and a traffic sign. In my orbat this units are used for courrier services, traffic regulation and escorts. They are equiped with light armored 4x4 vehicles ("armored scout cars") and motorcycles. There is a platoon in the signal company and a company in the transportation battalion. Also the ponton companies have such a plattoon to guide the heavy and long trucks with the motorized floating bridge. |
