I think the newer version looks very nice. Much less heavy-lined clutter, which always made the SPS-40 feel a bit out of place on many drawings. Much more in line with the Shipbucket standard, now, IMHO. |

I mean, the old one was drawn in mid-2008 for the DDG-1 Gyatt drawing. It was traced from a bad reference work... I'm surprised you guys haven't redrawn it already... |

I tried many time's but was ignored many times on that part. perhaps I wasn't big enough in SB at that moment. But Ace... have did a good work here. |

well, colo, the fun fact is that that linework wasn't that bad. the overall shape was very near correct and the size was correct. while it does not look that way, I basically only redetailed it for the sake of details and looking good

was looking at some of Karl94's Battleships, and I didn't personally like the look of the turrets on some of them, so I started to play a bit with them, studying modelships, pictures. studying how the light hit's the turrets and reflects.
